Erik Ochsner ’89 Bio

Erik Ochsner grew up in Danville, Indiana and attended Park Tudor School from grades 4‑12. After graduating from Dartmouth College, he moved to New York City to pursue his music studies. Ochsner is considered by audiences and critics alike to be one of the leading film-orchestra conductors due to his energy, attention to detail and precise synchronization. He has conducted 22 different films in “film with live orchestra” concerts all over the globe, from Moscow to Melbourne, and Shanghai to Sofia. He is the founder of SONOS Chamber Orchestra in New York, and a frequent guest conductor at the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra. A recent review said “Ochsner, with surgical precision and palpable passion, guided the orchestra through the twists and turns of this complex score." Upcoming engagements include Saudi Arabia, and Finland. Erik’s mom is from Finland, and Erik current holds dual citizenship with US and Finland. He and his partner, Masataka, love travelling, wine and collecting requiem recordings.

Past highlights include: 50 performances of La La Land (Justin Hurwitz’s Academy Award and Grammy Award winning score); the world premiere of Mary Poppins (in the Sydney Opera House); complete performances of the films Frozen, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King (sung in Polish, in front of 16,000 people in Krakow, Poland!) On 40 hours’ notice, he flew to Taipei to conduct Beauty and the Beast in Concert to fill for an ailing colleague, and 3 days’ notice he travelled to Louisville to conduct Star Wars 7 in Concert: The Force Awakens.

Kate Lehman Trumbull ’00 Bio

After graduating from Park Tudor in 2000, Kate Trumbull earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. She has enjoyed a long and successful career in marketing for some of America’s best-known brands. Most recently, Trumbull has served as Domino’s senior vice president – chief brand officer, overseeing advertising, media, product innovation and national sales. Prior to that, she held the position of senior vice president – brand and product innovation. Some of the key campaigns she has overseen in these positions include the launch of Domino’s electric delivery fleet, Loaded Tots, Carryout Tips, Domino’s mind ordering app and Emergency Pizza. Trumbull previously served as Domino’s vice president of advertising and Hispanic marketing. In that role, she oversaw consumer-facing creative across television, radio, print and packaging, and led numerous campaigns. Before that, she served as Domino’s director of digital marketing, overseeing owned and paid digital marketing, digital media, and social media marketing. As the director of loyalty, she led the team that designed and launched Domino’s award-winning Piece of the Pie Rewards program. Trumbull joined Domino’s in 2011 from Procter & Gamble, where she worked in brand management.
