On Sunday, September 8, the Indianapolis Area Private School​ Diversity Consortium hosted a Back-to-School Skate Party at Skateland, and about 70 skaters, plus their families enjoyed music, arcade games, food and free ice cream. Students from Park Tudor, University High School, St. Richard's, Orchard, Brebeuf, Cathedral, and Sycamore were invited to attend. It was a fun Sunday afternoon get together to hang out with classmates and make new friends. Lade Akande (University) and Kelin Mark and Camille Wiggins (Park Tudor) were the host chaperones.
